How does the Winning in the Game of Life™ programme fit into the UK Curriculum?

In 2012, the UK Government introduced revised guidelines for spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development as part of the Primary school curriculum.

The purpose is to ensure that every state-funded school offers a curriculum which is balanced and broadly based [1] and which: – Promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils at the school and of society, and – Prepares pupils at the school for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of later life. [2]

It is now a requirement that ‘All schools should make provision for personal, social, health education (PSHE), drawing on good practice.’ [3]

The Winning in the Game of Life Programme™ has been specifically adapted to offer a structured programme based on best practice which can be easily implemented by Primary School Teachers and offers an engaging and effective educational resource.
